the brilliant green 「Ash Like Snow」 2008.2.06 OUT

Japanese alternative rock band, the brilliant green rides into 2008 with a new single, “Ash Like Snow” under DefSTAR Records label (Sony). This will be the group’s 17th single and is the second opening theme (previously, “DAYBREAK’S BELL” by L’Arc-en-Ciel) for the MBS・TBS anime series Kidō Senshi Gandamu 00 (MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00) which started airing in January. The single will be released on the 6th of February and the first press limited editions include a MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00 wide cap sticker and a Allelujah character ID card. The brilliant green last single “ENEMY” was released in December of last year. A new singles collection album will be release two weeks later.

[Next Release] the brilliant green 16th single 「ENEMY」 2007.12.12 OUT

the brilliant green 「ENEMY」 2007.12.12 OUT

Japanese rock (J-Rock) band, the brilliant green returns for their 16th single, “ENEMY” on December 12th. This comes just under four months since the release of their long-awaited comeback single “Stand by me”, which debuted at #10 on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking. This will be the group’s 10th anniversary with current members Kawase Tomoko aka “Tommy” on vocals, Ryo Matsui on electric/lead guitar and Okuda Shunsaku on bass and acoustic/rhythm guitar, and they first debuted with the single, “Bye Bye Mr. Mug” back in September of 97. The new single has been described as a “medium tempo wintery ballad” and will be available in two editions, CD-only and CD+DVD first press limited edition.
