[Just Release] Nakajima Miyuki’s 35th Studio Album 「I Love You, Kotaetekure」

This week, Nakajima Miyuki (55), popular Japanese singer/songwriter and radio personality just released “I Love You, Kotaetekure,” her 35th studio album (46 including 9 best-of and 2 live albums) on October 3rd under her own label Yamaha Music Communications. The latest album includes two songs, “Ichigo Ichie” and “Mukashi Kara Ame ga Futte Kuru” that were used as the MBS/TBS Kei Zenkoku Net “Sekai Ururun Taizaiki ~Renaissance~” theme song and ending theme song, respectively. As a veteran singer/songwriter, often compared with Matsutoya Yumi, she has written over 90 songs for numerous singers and made several number one hits including Tokio’s “Sorafune” in 2006 and co-written with Tsugutoshi Goto, about twenty of Kudo Shizuka’s songs, in which five singles reached number one on the Oricon chart – “Fu-Ji-Tsu,” “Mugo,n…Iroppoi,” “Kosa ni Fukarete,” “Watashi ni Tsuite” and her biggest 1993 hit “Doukoku,” selling over 900,000 copies. Currently on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking, the album debuts at #4.
